Jennifer Byrne and regular guests Marieke Hardy and Jason Steger are joined by ABC TV’s own Leigh Sales, and Wheeler Centre director Michael Williams to discuss five books handpicked by our panellists to kick start your holiday reading.
Jennifer's pick is Reckoning: A Memoir by Magda Szubanski, Marieke’s choice is Anne Tyler’s A Spool of Blue Thread, Jason brings The Whites by Harry Brandt (aka Richard Price), Leigh is bringing along Relativity by Antonia Hayes and Michael rounds out the list with A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara.
We will also announce the top five books as voted by our audience. This special episode will culminate with the poll result for your favourite new book in 2015 – your FIVE OF THE BEST.
