The RMS Titanic has forever been the most iconic and famous ocean liner to ever exist. It infamously sank on there maiden voyage in April 1912 and ever since has been at the centre of interest and curiosity, popularized many times in pop culture over the last century. With all of that interest, some intrepid individuals have dreamt up their own modern creation and have set out to build replicas of the doomed liner. Perhaps one of the most expensive failures of the 2008 economic crisis came from an unlikely place, just hundreds of feet off the coast of Dubai. There, sat several large masses of sand in the unique shape of palm trees and earth's continents.
