Mike and his wife, Luce, try to launch an Internet start-up company; Luce feels torn when she's offered a pay hike at her current job. Site owners Mike and Luce try to nail down a financial deal with their sole investor, Joe Walsh.

Mike and Luce suffer serious financial reversals, and both their company and house are put in jeopardy. Luce and Mike are desperately searching for a new financial backer, and their staff are becoming increasingly suspicious.

As the marketing launch approaches, the friction between Will and Luce intensifies. They discover that cyber-squatters on a pornography site are siphoning off their traffic.

Mike and Fran clinch a deal to feature webcasts on the site, but funding is needed and Mike and Luce are concerned that Yvonne is not delivering.

Mike may have cleansed his conscience by denouncing the sponsorship deal on the site but it leaves Luce horrified.

Guilty consciences are rife in the Seethru offices and the emotional gap between Mike and Luce widens. Yvonne chooses the wrong ally in Will.

Fran decides to sort things out with Mike so, putting her own feelings aside, she suggests to him that pulling the business round might also get his marriage back on track.

Mike realizes his night with Fran was a mistake; Seethru's on the verge of collapse; trying to save the company brings Mike and Luce back together.
