Xena: Warrior Princess blended sexy action and Greek mythology (and some others) to create one of the biggest syndicated hits of 90's television. The series has meant many things to different people, and this video takes a long look at how the show changed over the years, and how it was put together behind the scenes.

I watched Matt Walsh's "Am I Racist?", Dinesh D'Souza's "Vindicating Trump", and the Daily Wire's "Identity Crisis". These were some of the weakest docs I had watched in some time. One common theme I touch on lightly in the video is how these movies so aggressively use imagination to sell their message. I think it speaks to the fear I see conservatives express over things that don't seem to exist in the world. Or at least aren't nearly as dangerous as they pretend they are.

Patrick Bet-David's book The Academy is not the most thrilling of reads. What might have been an interesting inversion of some common tropes never really does anything interesting with the whole secret school creating world leaders thing.

Mad Men was one of the high points of television in its era, offering sharp commentary on the world of the 1960s, and how it reflects our present day. I first watched this series back when it aired, and revisiting it was a real joy. It still holds up very well, though parts of it do hit a bit different over 15 years later. This is my first foray into such a dense series, and I hope you all enjoy it.

The Daily Wire has been having some hard times. Layoffs, a CEO stepping down, and losing some major talent. This video looks at the decisions that led to its current situation. In this case, decline is not the same as death, but things don't seem to be going well there.
