Yogscast: Civilization V

We're back for a brand new game of Civilization 5, where we're joined by Kirsty, who's been "promoted" from the Noobs Game. Daltos also gets put to the test to see if all his extra Civ-playing makes him a good teacher.

The game is heating up, as we start snapping up City-States as friends - or making enemies of them by stealing their workers. You know, either way is good.

As more cities are founded, more names are needed and Duncan starts scrambling to think of more vampires. Meanwhile, Daltos claims this is the most amount of Barbarians he's ever seen!

Wonders are starting to become a hot commodity, and the ever-desired Petra becomes a hot topic as both Duncan and Lewis wants it badly!

Duncan's plan to get all the cool wonders to help his empire is ruined by Lewis, and he is not very happy about it. Meanwhile, religions expand and enhance!

Is there a comeback in Duncan's future? It's possible! Is there any stopping Daltos? Less possible.

With armies massing at the borders between Daltos and Lewis, it feels like war is inevitable. Is it? If so, who is the aggressor?

Lewis's offense seems completely unstoppable! Daltos is fighting back with all he has. Is there a key tech or unit that can turn the tide? Or perhaps a sudden ally?

In a brilliant strategic move, Lewis decides to move his troops to where the war ISN'T! Truly, next-level plays like this is why he's the champion.

Who played the first half of this game, anyway? What a mess.

SOMEONE IS GOING TOURISM!!! Probably? Maybe? Best panic and prepare for war, just in case.

With Daltos and Duncan bogged down in War, Lewis is racing ahead. Is there any chance for the war to be finished quickly, and one rising to the top? Or are we hoping for Kirsty's Japan or Rythian's Byzantium to pose a challenge against the mighty Maori Empire?

Who is the threat? Is it Duncan? Daltos? Surely not Lewis, he's not the threat at all. Not a good game for Lewis this game, for sure. Barely hanging on. Poor guy.

Smashed With Cash is verbal wildfire, but more importantly, Lewis is absolutely loaded. So loaded that he can buy nukes. It's officially time to start being worried.

What would a Civ game be without an ending involving nukes?
