Superman Peanut Butter wasn't around for a very long time but it is one of those distinctly 80's things that sat at the back of my brain waiting to be covered.

It was only the 2nd Super Sentai show from Toei but it almost killed the franchise before it even started, JAKQ Dengekitai (ジャッカー電撃隊) aired in 1977 for just 35 episodes. The shortest season with a course correction in the middle that added "Big One" still wasn't enough to save the series or Super Sentai as a genre. And then Spider-Man showed up in his big robot.
