The Cruise: Fun Loving Brits At Sea

Series following three groups of holidaymakers around the Mediterranean's most glamourous spots. They start by exploring Rome before boarding The Princess Royal.

On Day 2 the cruise arrives in the stunning city of Naples. Andy and Rachel learn to dance the Tarantella, and the Walker Greens get lost in search of vegan gelato.

The Regal Princess arrives in the Port of Heraklion, capital city of Crete. Fish-phobic Andy and Rachel take a brave plunge, and the Walker Greens go minotaur hunting.

The cruise arrives at the resort town of Kusadasi on Turkey's Aegean coast, where there's haggling at the bazaars, relaxing in the baths, and those famous Turkish carpets.

It's the final day of the cruise for the three groups of travellers, but before heading home they explore the holiday hotspot of choice for the rich and famous: the Greek party capital of Mykonos.

The travellers explore the ruins of Hadrian's Library, botanical gardens and a flea market.

The travellers visit the glorious Greek island of Santorini, where they experience the black sands of Perissa beach, a calamari lunch, Profitis Ilias Mountain, hiking and a salsa lesson.

The guests visit Messina, the third largest city in Sicily, where they enjoy a walking tour with a local guide, rice based street food arancini, Fort San Jaccidhu Ecological Park and the lakes of Ganzirri.

On Day 4, the cruise ship arrives in Italy's third largest city, Naples, home of the margherita pizza and the perfect place for our travellers to enjoy a slice of Italian life.

On the final day of the cruise our travellers take an epic journey across The Med from Naples in Italy to Barcelona in Spain, spending their day entertaining themselves on board.

A new set of cruisers explore Barcelona before boarding the Regal Princess. There's paella cooking and caricature artists in the Spanish city, but one of the party has a fear of ships...

The travellers enjoy a day in Gibraltar, meeting the Barbary Macaques who inhabit the famous Rock, exploring its two hundred year-old siege tunnels, and feeding some rescue lemurs.

It's a 'Sea Day' on the Regal Princess as the ship cruises from Gibraltar to Marseille. There's pampering in the spa and a boat building competition, and James is on a secret mission...

In Marseille the cruisers take a walking tour, play Petanque, learn how to make delicious macarons, and sample some ales at a local brewery.

On the final day of the cruise there're classes in chocolate and pesto making, a trip to a pirate ship movie set, and James finally pops the question.
