Marty and Bernard On The Road

Marty Morrissey and Bernard O'Shea meet various groups who do remarkable things for their community, setting up a challenges in order to fundraise for that group. In the first episode, they meet a group of women from Ballybough in Dublin who are members of the Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others initiative.

In tonight’s episode they travel to Kilrush in Co Clare to meet the local RNLI. These brave volunteers play a vital role in the safety of the local area. Balancing full time jobs, families and life’s responsibilities, these admirable individuals are the essence of community spirit. Marty and Bernard get to know the members of the RNLI before setting a fundraising challenge that raises a few eyebrows and a few voices. Plus, as Marty is from the area, this trip has an extra special significance for him.
