Money divides the sisters when Ruby can't afford a down payment for their business. Ione dates an older man; realizes she hasn't moved on from her ex. Ruby finds creative places to have sex with her husband.

Ruby's birthday wish is to have one more baby before it's too late. She pushes the issue with her husband, who disagrees. Ione crosses the line with Ellen's boyfriend when she calls him late at night for help.
