It starts off with Bonnie Bunny, Maximillian Mouse and Edward Elephant having a quiet breakfast in the garden when Joe Crow flies over them in his plane as he gets some early morning practice for a display of daredevil flying. This impresses Max but Bonnie can't bear to watch. Joe's flying is so breathtaking that it takes Edwards breath away, causing him to get hiccups.

It starts out with Boris Bulldog walking through the town, delivering some post and he has something special to deliver, an invitation for Bonnie, Edward and Max to Lionel Lions fancy dress party where there'll be a prize for the most unusual costume. They receive the letter and Max reads it out to Bonnie and Edward, the idea of the contest makes them think of what they'll dress up as, Max decides that he'll dress up as a car and walks off making car noises. Bonnie comments "How's he going to be a car?" to which Edward replies "Probably going to grow wheels," Max returns in a car costume saying "Beep beep" and 'drives' in-between Bonnie and Edward.

In the episode, Boris Bulldog gets a scooter and has a lot of fun with it.

Clive Crocodile discovers his old kite in his garden shed, and has a lot of fun with it, until he gets it stuck in a tree.

Bertie Bulldog becomes a detective and gets his first case.

Edward Elephant discovers an old camera buried underground, and becomes a reporter.

Edward Elephant joins the Fabuland band and writes a song which becomes a great hit.

In the episode, we see Edward Elephant jogging.

Wilfred Walrus, captain of the Fabuland steamer, finds some treasure on a long-lost island.
