Just Crazy

In the first episode, we meet Brynjar Orri, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and Silja Björk Björnsdóttir, who has struggled with depression and anxiety.

In the second episode, we meet Bjarney, who has recently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and Ágústa, who has battled severe mental illness for a quarter of a century.

In the third episode, we realize why Silja's boyfriend understands depression and anxiety, we meet Ágústa's siblings in Breiðholt, and we meet Brynjar Orri's identical twin for the first time.

In the fourth episode, we examine the job market through their eyes, as people with mental illness make up the largest group of disability pensioners in Iceland. We follow Silja to her psychologist and meet a lot of wonderfully interesting people with mental health issues in Borgartún.

In the fifth episode of "Just Crazy," we delve into the circumstances and emotions that lead a young and vibrant woman in the prime of her life to make the decision to end her life.

Bjarney is one of four brave Icelanders who decided to let Lóa Pind and cameraman Egill Aðalsteinsson into their lives. They have followed Bjarney, Ágústa Ísleifsdóttir, Brynjar Orri Oddgeirsson, and Silja Björk Björnsdóttir for months, some for nearly a year, to gain a deep insight into the lives of people with mental illnesses.
