Joan of Arc fervently believed that St. Catherine, St. Margaret and St. Michael appeared to her, and told her that she would be the one to deliver her home country of France from the Hundred Years’ War.

Maximilian Kolbe, a Catholic priest in Poland during World War Two, is arrested in 1941 and sent to Auschwitz. When a prisoner is selected for death by starvation, Maximilian offers to take his place.

Mary Magdalene, once tormented, finds healing with Jesus of Nazareth. Freed from demons, she becomes his devoted follower, witnessing his ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection.
