Rising Phoenix: Road to Tokyo

In early 2020, during the Covid pandemic, the Tokyo Paralympic Games are postponed and the athletes' plans are in disarray.

As 2021 begins there's anticipation that the postponed Games might finally take place. But questions remain about whether spectators should be allowed or if the Games can safely proceed at all.

The athletes start to arrive in Tokyo, but spectators won't be allowed and some local people aren't happy about hosting the Games at all.
