Bachir the Series

Bachir’s relatives and close friends unveil his upbringing, his developing personality and his rebellious outlook emanating from the effervescent national, sectarian and psychological divide within the country.

The era witnesses the outbreak of the Two-Year War pitting the Christians against Palestinian forces and their allies, the split of the country and its capital, as well as the formation of the Lebanese Forces to unite all Christian militias. Bachir soon struggles as his commitment to solve chronic political problems is hindered by a smothering status quo imposed on the country.
