Gliders

The team arrives in Bariloche for the start of the flight journey through South America. They decide to go to the city of Chos Malal, to make a wave flight. Formiga and Sylvestre take a flight to see the place and then Formiga takes his first solo flight aboard the FireBird.

Still in Argentina, Formiga continues to fly with the Firebird. On one of the flights, he has to make an emergency landing. He forgets to lower the landing gear and ends up dragging the glider's belly on the runway. The next morning, Formiga takes one of the best flights of his life.

Formiga talks about the Glider and its characteristics. He and Sylvestre say goodbye to Chos Malal and make their way to Bariloche. There, Sylvestre comments on the challenge of filming glider flights. After an unforeseen event, the two make beautiful flights around the region.

Formiga and Sylvestre make an incredible flight with beautiful images through the Bariloche region. Later, Sylvestre takes a paramotor flight with Formiga on the radio giving directions. Finally, they tell a little about their friendship and talk about their passion for flying.

Pilot Luiz Roberto Formiga travels through South America aboard his glider, an airplane of the aerial modality known as sail flight. He, the cinematographer Silvestre Campe and the team take a trip by land and air passing through countries like Uruguay, Argentina, Southern Brazil and São Paulo.

In the Argentine city of Córdoba, Luis Roberto Formiga ventures even on a day not favorable for sailing. Your persistence is rewarded with a beautiful flight as soon as the weather has improved.

In Uruguay, Formiga tells about his flying experiences with gliders. After a tense flight that culminated in an emergency landing, Formiga and his Firebird glider fly over the River Plate.

Formiga recalls the exciting flights he made in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, while going to Palmeiras das Missões in Brazil.

After the setbacks of the trip, the team arrives at the airport of Montenegro in Rio Grande do Sul. The director Sylvestre Campe and the pilot Felipe Muller take Cléo Campe, the director's daughter.

Arriving in Osório in Rio Grande do Sul, Formiga tells a little about his trajectory with the sailing flight, which started in the Aeroclube of Gliders of Albatroz in Rio Grande do Sul.

The team arrives at Aeroclube de Tatuí, the home of Firebird. The aeroclub has a great historical collection, like the 1st glider that participated in an Olympics when flight was still an Olympic sport.

Director Sylvestre Campe arrives with his Paramotor at the Bebedouro aeroclub, in São Paulo. After a storm that caught the team off guard, Formiga prepares for a flight with Navarro.

Finishing the expedition, Formiga comments on each experience lived with great affection and emotion, while showing a flashback with the best moments of the trip.
