The Program: Prison Detox

In a community devastated by addiction, the Sheriff and Jail Administrator are offering inmates an unprecedented three-month drug rehab programme.

It’s week one, and the participants face the harsh reality of this emotionally and physically gruelling drug rehab programme.

Bradley and Camron appeal their expulsion from the programme. Racial tensions between roommates Tonya and Tammy boil over.

In week four, the trustees reckon with their traumas and triggers. Jayme shares her story, inspiring others to do the same. Steven's new anger management skills are tested while Camron's progress is derailed after learning his brother has been arrested.

As the program crosses the halfway mark, the trustees begin losing focus, and Lynette reaches a breaking point. The jail staff struggles to get the trustees back on track after contraband is discovered and a romantic relationship comes to light.

In the final weeks of the program, the trustees face tough choices as they finalize their plans for life on the outside. When Bradley's plans fall apart, he puts his sobriety at risk. One trustee is kicked out of the program.

With a blizzard bearing down on De Queen, Gentry and Wolcott change the program's release and graduation plans. The trustees return to their lives on the outside, and their resolve to stay sober is truly tested as they face familiar temptations.
