Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan are walking down the streets of London. They enter to the pub Pelican Inn, apparently to sell Francis Drake's Ring.

A 15-year old Nathan Drake arrives at the Museo Marítimo located in Cartagena, Colombia and enters the museum looking for Francis Drake's ring.

Nathan decides to sneak in to “The Pirate Francis Drake” exhibit in the museum looking for Francis Drake's Ring, this time at night, with the key for the display case that he pilfered from Sully.

Talbot and Katherine Marlowe enter their black car, ramming Charlie Cutter on their way. Once the car had left, Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan get up, revealing that Cutter's shooting them was just an elaborate ruse.

After successfully fooling Marlowe, Talbot and their men, Drake, Sully, Chloe and Cutter break into the warehouse where the car was last seen.

Nate explores Lawrence of Arabia's castle, searching for clues and the secret among the walls.

As Drake and Sully exit the tomb, they see Talbot and two agents pointing their weapons at them.

Nate and Sully head to Syria to see if Cutter and Chloe are safe. Then, they go for the other half of the amulet.

Nate, Sully, Cutter, and Chloe make their way to find the other half of the amulet.

Nate and Sully visit Yemen in search of clues to lead to Iram of the Pillars. They called Elena Fisher to help them enter the city without hassles.

Nate and Elena argue over the former's motives and why he's doing this; she doesn't understand why he's putting everyone in danger and she soon admits that she is over the thrill of treasure hunting.

After Nate was knocked out cold by Rameses he is held captive by Rameses' crew. Rameses tells Nate during a conversation between the two that the old lady asked Rameses to get rid of Nate.

Nathan tries to make his way onto Rameses' ship, also known as The Seaward, and find Sully to get him out of there.

Drake makes his way into the hold of The Seaward to get Sully out of there so both of them could escape the ship.

After finding out that Sully was not kidnapped by Rameses, Drake is ambushed by Rameses' men.

Nate has just escaped from the clutches of Marlowe, and arrived in Elena's apartment in Yemen. She tells him that Sully has been kidnapped, and they can board a cargo plane to catch up to him.

Nate crawls through the ventelation shafts of the plane, but is detected. The fight causes the plane's engines begin to catch fire.

With no map and no water, Nathan begins to wander aimlessly through the vast desert.

After wandering the Rub' al Khali desert for days, Nate eventually sees a settlement. When he makes his way toward it, he discovers that it is nothing but a ghost town.

Nate and Salim are on horse back, chasing down Katherine Marlowe's convoy in the Rub' al Khali to rescue Sullivan.

After arriving in Ubar, Drake and Sully begin to explore the city. They stumble upon a water fountain that Drake drinks out of, amazed that water system still works. However, the two notice a solar eclipse, and suddenly Sully is shot dead by Talbot.

Nate must fight his own hallucinations and a large group of enemies to stop Marlowe and Talbot before it's too late.
