Tygo investigates which punishments there are for young people and to what extent this helps to get them on the right path. He visits a juvenile detention center and an open prison to see what incarceration can do to young people. 18-year-old Nick, who is very impulsive due to his ADHD and PDD-NOS, comes into contact with the police again. His aid workers intervene and impose sanctions. 18-year-old Germaine, who became involved in crime at a young age, is feeling depressed. He sees only two possibilities for himself, death or prison. Can these young people change?
