Tour de Fred: Northern Ireland

Fred Sirieix is cycling in Northern Ireland. In County Down, he’s heading to the Mourne Mountains on a steep climbing route that will really test his stamina.

Fred Sirieix’s journey in Northern Ireland takes him along Strangford Lough’s scenic shores. He cycles from Castle Ward to Portaferry, by land and sea routes.

Fred’s bike challenge takes him to explore Belfast, where he also takes on a former Irish champion in the boxing ring and discovers a new talent at the pottery wheel.

Fred’s cycle on the North Coast takes him through dramatic cliffs and rolling hills. He tries golf and also gets a lesson in hurling, the fastest field sport in the world.
