Contestants are challenged to make a small space feel HUGE as they convert three drab and empty units into celebrity bachelor pads!

Top Design Special: three challenges and a double elimination. Jamie raises the stakes for his "bunch of superstars", but he has an even bigger twist up his sleeve.

The remaining contestants are given a theme to design their rooms around - Mexican beach, French provincial and New York City. Luxury accommodation proprietor Terry Kaljo from Contemporary Hotel joins us as a guest judge.

It's the dream of many Australians to hitch the caravan to the car and take off around the country, and that's the genesis of this episode's challenge. The contestants are divided into teams of two to redesign a 20-year-old caravan according to the wishes of specific clients.

As the saying goes, one mans trash is another mans treasure. Making Old Things New Again is about recycling the old and turning it into something completely new, different and practical - the prerequisite for tonight's challenge.

Our remaining contestants are each allocated one of the five emotions - Love, Anger, Serenity, Jealousy or Happiness - and they must design a space around that emotion.

Just four contestants remain in the competition - and the pressure ramps up in the penultimate episode as our contestants fight for a place in the Finale. What better than a “Design Triathlon”, competing in three challenges this week to really put the designers to task!

Only three contestants are left and the toughest challenge has been saved for last: designing a three-bedroom house for real clients. The stakes are high and not just for the contestants. They are playing to win $100,000 and the fabulous design tour, visiting famous design landmarks and meeting some of the best designers in the world.
