The mysterious island

In March 1865, at the end of the American Civil War, five brave men and dog "Top" managed to extricate themselves from the besieged headquarters of the Southerners, where they were declared prisoners of war. A hurricane rips its filled balloon 11000 km away, until they finally stranded on a mysterious island.

None of the stranded who the hurricane threw onto the beach of a seemingly uninhabited island believed in seeing engineer Schmith again. He had fallen from the balloon into the storm surges of the Pacific when he tried to fix a defect to the balloon and was rescued by Nemo his people.
