The Last Overland

In 1955, adventurer Tim Slessor completed a record-breaking drive from London to Singapore. Now 87 years old, he sets off to recreate the same journey, in the same old Land Rover. What could go wrong?

To keep Tim's great dream alive, the team cross Myanmar, where they mix with royalty, and India, where they crash a tribal turf war. Later, they reach Nepal, and the foothills of the Himalayas.

Forced to avoid Afghanistan, the team take on China and Central Asia. But with freezing temperatures, crippling altitude and deadly bandits, are they out of the frying pan and into the fire?

After raising their antique car from the dead in Turkmenistan, the team race to the finish line through the shadow of the old Soviet Union. Will they complete the mission 87-year-old Tim started?
