The BBC shipped in a selection of fan-owned Daleks to appear in the Asylum. But their presence on set caused a few problems for the continuity-conscious. And one met a very sorry end.

By 2012, the BBC had accumulated quite a lot of Daleks, plus they borrowed a lot, so that a large number could all appear on screen together in Ayslum of the Daleks.
