CORRECTION/CLARIFICATION
Regarding the way the disc stores the 3D - as mentioned it’s two frames per rotation made up of four fields, what I neglected to mention though was that the fields alternate for each eye. So it’s left eye field 1, right eye field 1, left eye field 2, right eye field 2 …and that’s our two frames for that rotation - so then the pickup moves onto the next ring.
