Supercross: Behind the Dream

Troy Adamitis narrates the one-hour special that takes a look at the level of commitment it takes to be a world class Supercross rider. The special is the first in a series of episodes taking you behind the scenes of the sport of Supercross and gives an up-close look at the sacrifices made by both the rider and family. CBS Sports’ Brian Seeling serves as coordinating producer.

The focus of this installment of Behind the Dreams analyzes the role of confidence in arguably the most demanding sport on the planet. While a belief in themselves and their teams has helped up-and-coming riders like Cole Seely and Jason Anderson rise to the forefront of Monster Energy Supercross this season, that same internal battle of confidence can be a weekly endeavor for a rider on the cusp of the elite like Jake Weimer, or a veteran some consider to be in the twilight of his career like Chad Reed.
