As the most epic cake competition gets underway, Duff Goldman and his team go up against cake artist Elizabeth Rowe and her teammates Avalon Yarnes and Corinna Maguire in the first battle featuring cakes inspired by the world of comic book icon Superman. Meanwhile, Duff must also make five other cakes at the same time! Stretched thin and under constant pressure, Duff and his team must work fast and creatively to impress judges Amaury Guichon, Sherry Yard and special guest Beck Bennett if they want to win $10,000 and be eligible for the grand prize.

Duff Goldman and his team take on cake maker Ashley Holt and her teammates Inae Tirado and Monika Stout. The teams are challenged to make cakes inspired by their best meal ever and featuring hyperrealistic food. Both Duff and Ashley pull from personal memories to create truly awe-inspiring cakes. Deciding which cake is worthy of $10,000 and eligible for the grand prize is up to judges Amaury Guichon, Sherry Yard and Jacques Torres.

For this challenge, Duff Goldman and his squad face off against Timbo Sullivan and his teammates, Sarah Ono Jones and Sarah Myers. The cakes must feature dazzling architectural detail on the outside and inside. The bakers take very different approaches, and it will be up to judges Amaury Guichon, Sherry Yard and Drew Scott from Property Brothers to decide which cake wins $10,000 and becomes eligible for the grand prize.

The longest week of Duff Goldman's life continues in one of the most epic battles of the season! Duff and his team square off against Henderson Gonzalez, Jujhar Mann and Timmy Norman to make cakes depicting ocean predators that feature a floating element. It's a close contest, and judges Amaury Guichon, Sherry Yard and special guest Paul de Gelder are all blown away at the majesty of the two cakes, but only one can move on and be eligible for the grand prize of $50,000.

Duff Goldman's cake-making marathon continues as he and his team must create a cake inspired by the world of classic cartoons. Duff opts for a famous moment from the world of Bugs Bunny, while the challenging team — Lucky Anderson and Kim Adams, led by renowned wedding cake designer Lincoln Alexander — tries to beat Duff by creating a chaotic Tom and Jerry chase scene. Both cakes must incorporate gravity defying effects, and judges Amaury Guichon, Sherry Yard and special guest Eric Bauza, the voice of Bugs Bunny, determine which cake wins $10,000 and a chance at the grand prize.

Cake master Duff Goldman's team and challenging cake artists Andrew Fuller, April Julian and Dill Barlow create cakes inspired by an alien invasion that feature special effects and lighting. Judges Amaury Guichon, Sherry Yard and Jack Osbourne decide on the $10,000 winner. Then, 50 passionate cake fans enter the arena to pick which of the season's six winning cakes deserves the grand prize and an additional $40,000!
