Women of the Sea

The First Episode of Women of the Sea presents the 3 main characters of the series and provides an overview of women's surfing in big waves. Andrea Moller the Brazilian eradicated on Maui was the first woman to surf Jaws, one of the most dangerous waves on the planet.

Andrea Moller was the first woman to drop Jaws. Along with the big wave mates Silvia Nabuco and Makani Adric, she is getting ready to face the next swell, but Makani shows difficulty.

Silvia Nabuco remembers her first time in Jaws, and then goes with Andrea Moller and Yuri Soledade to surf in Honomanu.

Makani takes advantage of the fact that the sea is not so big to train and prepare for bigger waves. Meanwhile, Silvia, Andrea and Nicole prepare to surf the big waves that are forming.

On the second day of Waimea Bay, Andrea meets Raquel Recket and Claudinha Gonçalves to learn about the waves, surf and give tips on Jaws. Silvia, Felipe Cesarano and Pedro Scooby surf at Jaws.

Silvia and Andrea prepare to surf the Waimea swell, but discover that the bay has closed and the waves are dangerous. Silvia stays out looking, but Andrea gets on the boat and tries to surf.

Girls increasingly show that women have everything in surfing. Andrea outdid herself in Jaws and caught the biggest wave ever surfed by a woman, while Silvia rules the waves of Waimea Bay.

Andrea talks about the desire and excitement to return to Mavericks and how it all worked out so that she decided at the last minute to go surfing full of adrenaline the swell she was setting up there.

Silvia comments on her session and talks about how she missed Andrea. Yuri Soledade and Marcio Freire will visit Andrea at home, who talks about the fall and is touched by all the support he receives from his friends.
