In the late Universal Century, the Earth Federation enacts an attempt to propel a craft at faster-than-light speeds. Zeon forces attack the launch facility in space and destroy it, but not before the craft can be successfully deployed.

In UC 0093 the Federation has recovered from its defeat and has created a new anti-colonial special forces unit to deal with rebel forces: Londo Bell. Elsewhere in space Char Aznable re-appears out of self imposed hiding with a declaration that he now commands his own Neo-Zeon movement and intends to force the emigration of Earth's inhabitants to space by bringing about an apocalypse.

An animated short created for Gundam's 10th anniversary event. One minute in length, it shows some of the popular Gundam models of the first 10 years of the franchise in action. The clip also served as a promotional video for the next Gundam series to be released as it ends with the announcement "War in the Pocket is coming soon".

In UC 0123 renewed conflict breaks out after a generation of peace in this continuation of the "Mobile Suit Gundam" anime saga. To accommodate the growing population, the Earth Federation has built new space colonies. But the Crossbone Vanguard decides to seize these cities to help establish its extraterrestrial empire. Now, reluctant hero Seabook Arno and his Gundam F91 must lead a fierce struggle for survival.

Screened together with Gundam: Mission to the Rise at Gundam's 20th Anniversary event "Gundam Big Bang Sengen" in Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall. Selected scenes from Kidou Senshi Gundam were re-edited for three giant projection screens to give the widescreen feel to the original 4:3 aspect footage. The soldier, Eiji, travels to the Ring Colony to search for the so-call "Beauty Memory", who is said to contain all of mankind's memories. Upon encountering Beauty on a hilltop, he is told that to decipher this data, he must obtain "Amuro's Legacy". Now Eiji continues his quest to discover the key to mankind's salvation.

An FF-X7 is guided into orbit with the assistance of every main protagonist Gundam for the first thirty years of the franchise's history.
