Inside MotoAmerica: Pressure to Rise

Episode One introduces MotoAmerica Superbike Championship contenders Loris Baz, Bobby Fong, Jake Gagne, Josh Herrin, Cam Petersen, Mathew Scholtz, and Kyle Wyman and follows them through the season’s exciting first weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Who’ll emerge at the top heading into Round Two?

In Episode 2 of Inside MotoAmerica: Pressure To Rise, we visit the Westby Racing race shop in Georgia and spend some time with team manager Chuck Giacchetto while also checking in on South African turned Georgian Mathew Scholtz, who leads the HONOS Superbike Championship going into Road America. The spotlight is on round two at VIRginia International Raceway with Scheibe Racing and their new rider Hector Barbera discovering American road racing; Cam Petersen, Loris Baz, and Josh Herrin getting into a heated battle; and Jake Gagne winning both races in Virginia. Plus, we check in with Hunter Dunham, his crew chief Melissa Paris, and Melissa's husband four-time Superbike champ Josh Hayes.

In Episode 3 of Inside MotoAmerica: Pressure To Rise, the HONOS Superbike riders and teams reflect on the first third of the season as the plot begins to thicken in the Championship. Fresh N' Lean Attack Performance Yamaha rider Jake Gagne has the early-season momentum, and the target is now squarely on his back as the other riders fight to turn the tide.

In Episode 5 of "Inside MotoAmerica: Pressure To Rise," the HONOS Superbike riders compete at the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and wonder how many more races Jake Gagne will have everything his way with his gaudy winning streak. Also, while on the West Coast, we pay a visit to Attack Performance, which is the home of Gagne's and teammate Josh Herrin's Fresh N' Lean Attack Performance Yamaha team.

Episode 6 of "Inside MotoAmerica: Pressure To Rise" focuses on AMA Superbikes' first visit to Brainerd International Raceway after nearly 20 years away. We're in the home stretch of the HONOS Superbike Championship, which means the pressure to rise is approaching a boiling point and the riders are definitely feeling it.

In Episode 7 of "Inside MotoAmerica: Pressure To Rise," the MotoAmerica circus heads back east to Pitt Race as the HONOS Superbike riders enter the home stretch of the 2021 Championship. The target is squarely on Jake Gagne. Can he keep his winning streak alive? Can he clinch the championship early? Can ANYONE beat him? Watch this episode as the pressure to rise is higher than ever.

In Episode 8 of "Inside MotoAmerica: Pressure To Rise", the HONOS Superbike riders travel to the Garden State and New Jersey Motorsports Park where a lot of championships have been decided in the past. Jake Gagne is on the cusp of not only winning the title but also setting a new record for most Superbike victories in a single season as the pressure continues to build.

Episode 9 of "Inside MotoAmerica: Pressure To Rise" focuses on the final round of the HONOS Superbike season at Barber Motorsports, where the weather played a critical factor in the outcome and placed even more pressure on the riders than usual.

In the final episode of Inside MotoAmerica for the 2020 season, we pick the top 10 MotoAmerica moments of the year; talk to all four partners in The KRAVE Group, which runs MotoAmerica; and bid a fond farewell to five-time Superbike Champ Cameron Beaubier.
