Great British Car Journeys

The stars of All Creatures Great and Small return to rural Yorkshire, traveling their own Herriot trail from Scarborough to the Dales, for a very special and nostalgic drive. They recreate the opening credits of All Creatures in an Austin 7, roadtest other retro vehicles including a tractor and a steam car and meet the owners of some classic Yorkshire-made Jowett cars.

The actors set off on a classic seaside adventure that takes them from the New Forest along the Jurassic Coast to Burgh Island. They get behind the wheel of some classic cars and visit some popular holiday destinations along the way.

Chris and Peter explore the Borders countryside, driving from Edinburgh to Hadrian's Wall they learn about a pioneering female car engineer, meet a motorsport legend and take a ride with a rally driver.

Chris and Peter drive along the Roman road the Fosse Way, starting in Axmouth, putting the Morgan through its paces on some rough terrain. They travel through the historical heartland of the car industry to the centre of Roman Britain.
