Food Network Star 2014 Star Salvation

In Episode 1, the first four eliminated rivals return to begin the fight for redemption. But after only a single challenge, one hopeful's dreams are dashed. Four ousted rivals begin their journey to redemption with a taco challenge.

Love is in the air in Episode 2, when the hopefuls are tasked with creating a dish that reflects the time they first fell in love with food. The rivals create a dish of love and connect it to the moment that started their passion for cooking.

Alex says that it's all about "the ability to adapt in unpredictable situations" this week, when she and Jeff challenge the remaining rivals to a two-part challenge.

The rivals test their palates in a blind tasting, then choose three ingredients they must feature in a dish. In Episode 4, Alex and Jeff shine a spotlight on a beloved California ingredient as they test the rivals' ingenuity and ability to transform that local product.

The rivals are presented with bags of mystery ingredients. Using these culinary curve balls, they must prove that they can be a food authority with unfamiliar ingredients.

After this final challenge, one rival will return to the Star competition. The final three rivals present the dish that they would eat as their last bite to earn a spot back in the Food Network Star competition. It's the final round of battle, and the remaining three hopefuls have one goal in mind: redemption. Watch as they cook for their lives and present one final meal in the hopes of earning salvation.
