Kana is a cheerful 17-year-old who can often be a klutz and nosy. One day, while hanging out with her besties (Pets, Mossan, and Hijiri), Mossan starts making a rocket using empty soda bottles. Suddenly an alien crashes at the house and threatens them, before Haruko Haruhara shows up and destroys the alien.

Kana and her besties witness Hijiri kissing a college student, Toshio, inside his car; acting more mature than any of her classmates, Hijiri suggests Kana and her besties to do a photo shoot with Toshio.

Kana learns that Mossan is working hard outside of school on a fashion contest and feels the urge to help her, which rubs Mossan the wrong way.

The four girls watch Sasaki’s basketball game; Haruko makes out with Sasaki, which triggers Kana’s N.O. to activate.

One hot summer day while playing in the pool, the girls and Haruko notice that Pets is missing. Kana later hears from her classmate Aida that Pets' family is very rich and they are moving to Mars.

Depressed Kana flips over the collection of photos she took with her besties; the next day, the three girls gather by the beach to watch the rocket Pets is supposed to be on depart.
