Summer 1995: FC Bayern puts together a new team. Jürgen Klinsmann moves to Munich and triggers great euphoria. There is only one person who can't get on with him - captain Lothar Matthäus. It soon becomes clear: there can only be one.

Manager Uli Hoeneß wants to increase publicity for his club in order to earn more money. He enters into a pact with the media. But this jeopardises sporting success - especially for Mehmet Scholl.
