Is There an Architect Present?

A new water park has been dumped in the middle of the dune landscape - and with it a gigantic water slide that has caused outrage. Because this is precisely where new buildings should adapt to the landscape. Ane Cortzen investigates whether there was an architect present in Søndervig.

The disappointment over Aarhus' highest-placed high-rise building, Unity, is so great that it is being called a tragedy. Everything and everyone can see it from afar, and this has made several very dissatisfied. Ane Cortzen is looking both high and far to see if an architect has been present.

Lolland has got what Ane Cortzen calls the worst-placed building. Right next to the national industrial monument, the sugar factory in Holeby, the island's largest hotel has been built - and it looks more like an advanced slum. She wonders if an architect was present.

Cinemas and cultural buildings are supposed to attract us - but things have gone wrong in Frederikshavn. Because the new cinema just looks like a bunker or a concrete block. Ane Cortzen goes in search of whether there has been an architect (or several?) present in the city's cultural and political center.
