In this two-hour special, Niecy Nash and the "Clean House" crew's cross-country trek to find the messiest home in the country ends in Lynwood, Illinois, where the Hayes family is buried in an avalanche of clutter. Darrell and Donna Hayes are two self-confessed shopaholic parents who covered their home with junk. Donna's battle with thyroid cancer has left her too drained to clean, while Darrell thinks he's above chores and expects his family to clean up after him. Their marriage in on the brink of divorce and their negligence in the home even resulted in health hazards--including toxic black mold in their basement!
