Channel Patrol

The RNLI team from Newhaven are called into action following a mayday call from a teenager on a stranded yacht. Trawler skipper Mike Young finds it hard to deal with strict fishing regulations and mechanical breakdowns as he attempts to earn a living from the channel's waters.

We follow the crew and pilots on board a mammoth cargo freighter as it makes its way through the Channel's hazards to Southampton in thick fog.
