In the early 2000's, Dubai unveiled plans for a enormous, $65 billion theme park and entertainment district called Dubailand. It was to be made up of various mega projects, theme parks and residential communities all with a goal to make Dubai the leader in themed entertainment. But, after singing on big names like Universal Studios, Legoland, Dreamworks and many more, the project came to a screeching halt after millions had already been spent.
