Bouncers (2012)

Queen Street is the hub of Colchester's late-night drinking scene. This episode of the documentary series follows five bouncers who work along this strip, at Silk Road, TP's Sports Bar and the kebab shop.

Clacton on Sea has seen better days, but The Liquor Lounge is a favourite with party animals. On the doors are Ryder, who's ready for trouble but prefers a quiet life, and Andy, who's training be a physics teacher and owns a labradoodle.

Liquor Lounge head doorman Dan is keen to make his mark, but he's got his work cut out trying to maintain control as Clacton-on-Sea gears up for the long, hot summer and he's fighting off an avalanche of girls who like his 'tough guy' image.
