Aurora is a ten-year-old girl who often runs away from her mother to play in the swamp. One evening, he joins Paulo and his sister Maja in their play in the sand. An accident occurs and Paul dies.

Aurora has another name and lives with her daughter Roz. Now she is a cook in a restaurant, she dedicates her life to a child and sees a new life chance in it. One day, a journalist photographs Aurora and reveals her true identity.

Pretending to be a writer, Maja manages to find Aurora and convinces her to write a book. One day, a terrible thing happens: Maja disappears, and with her, Roz. Danger loomed over Aurora's life!
