Becoming (2015)

The first episode of Becoming will center on James himself, tracing the NBA champion's trajectory and highlighting his accomplishments and inspirations. It was filmed in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, and features rarely seen footage from his early days shooting hoops in youth leagues and in high school.

Treating audiences to the aspirational story of young American soccer superstar and Olympic gold medalist Alex Morgan. Featuring never-before-seen footage of Alex as a young girl and aspiring superstar, the episode spotlights her commitment to her sport, the obstacles she overcame and the career-defining moments as she rose to the top. From the day she first decided to start playing soccer to her team’s recent victory at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World, viewers will get an intimate look at her ascension to one of the best to play the game.

Debuting on Christmas morning on Disney XD, the show follows Paul as he goes from being an undersized JV point guard to an NBA superstar.

"Becoming: Henrik Lundqvist" follows the story of Henrik's journey as a young boy from rural Sweden to becoming one of the best goaltenders in the NHL. Along with his identical twin brother the Lundqvist's learned to rely on one another to both celebrate success and overcome adversity.

“Becoming: CC Sabathia” chronicles how Carsten Charles “CC” Sabathia (New York Yankees) became a Major League Baseball success story.

“Becoming: Tim Howard” chronicles how Tim Howard (United States Men’s National Soccer Team) became a success story both domestically and internationally.

“Becoming: Ben Simmons” follows Australian basketball player Ben Simmons and his journey to becoming the No.1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.
