Balladen om kolonihaven

It is spring and new times in the garden association Jørgen Berthelsen's Minde outside Aalborg. A lot of young people have moved in and want something different from the old people.

It's time for the annual hedge cutting, and it reveals that the young want a tall hedge and peace and quiet, and the elderly want a low hedge and a beer with the neighbour.

A garden tenant wants to create a biodiversity project with wild flowers. It's nothing at all for the allotment association's older residents, but the young people are excited.

The season is coming to an end. Has the new chairman duo created a new community? It all ends with a dramatic extraordinary general meeting.
