Nicknamed "the king of zanies", creator of the legendary weekly "L'Os à marrow", Pierre Dac was also a poet, a philosopher in his own way, and a Resistance fighter. In London, at the BBC microphone, he was one of the "French people who speak to the French". His texts, like his thoughts, are absolutely modern. All the comedians of today and tomorrow have, or will have, something of Pierre Dac in them. Among his descendants and disciples, there are Pierre Desproges, Coluche, Les Nuls, Les Guignols, Michaël Hirsch, Gorafi and a few others.
