Day one of the experiment proves a shock for everyone, and there are tears when the teenagers discover just how competitive the Chinese teachers expect them to be.

As the project continues, the kids rebel against the harsh regime of long days and strict discipline. Behaviour in the Chinese School gets worse, with the Chinese teachers struggling to deliver their lessons. Word gets back to the British headmaster and he decides it's time to intervene.

It's exam week at Chinese School, but after recent discipline problems the Chinese teachers are playing catch up against their British counterparts.
