The Case

In 2000, Christophe Molmy is put in charge of tracking down Antonio Ferrara by his superior. At first glance, he thinks the man harmless, considering his poor background. He soon realises that Ferrara is a great old fashionned bandit, who has links with the mobs of Marseille, Paris and Corsica . The policeman tells the tale of a manhunt where phone taps, bates and snitches come and go, as well as his perception during the investigation and after.

From 1995, a series of rapes, followed by murders shook the region of Perpignan. In charge of the investigation, Gilles Soulie, will strive to find one, or severall culprits of these horrendous crimes, in a case full of twists and deception, to finally catch the murderer, after almost twenty years of a relentless investigation.

In 2004, a female couple dispapears. Michel Cunault, in charge of the case, manages to implicate an obvious suspect : Jean Pierre Treiber, the last who had seen the two young women alive. Their bodies are discovered in his backyard. Arrested, Treiber will continue to claim innocence until the tragic ending of this investigation.

In September 2009, Marie-Christine Hodeau, a jogger, was kidnapped. Locked in the trunk of her kidnapper’s car, she manages to call the gendarmerie, declares her identity and gives a part of the license plate. After 2 minutes, the kidnapper opens the trunk and throws the young woman’s phone away. It’s a real race against time that begins for Véronique Sadys, gendarme at the Paris search section.

Constable Marie-Pierre Evrard usually lives at a distance from the cases she has to deal with. Until the day when a strange complaint from a woman accusing her companion of attempted murder and swindling disrupts her daily life. A drawer affair where women multiply around a modern bluebeard, Jamel Leulmi.
