Written by Carlos Alberto Ratton, the episode tells the story of Madalena (Ana Paula Arósio), a beautiful young woman aged just 20 who lives in a country town and, as a child, saw her father killed by a policeman. In order to support her sick mother (Ana Rosa), she goes to work as a prostitute in Curral das Quengas, but her dream has always been to get married and have many children. The climate of harmony in the city is broken when the new delegate Militão (Ernani Moraes), a brute, takes over the local police station. He falls in love with Madalena, who doesn't even want to think about receiving him in her rooms, arousing the fury of the chief, who slaps her hard. Recovered, Madalena will use all her power of seduction to end once and for all with the race of the troublemaker delegate.
