The episode tells the bravery of fisherman Chico Norato, who manages to tame the boiúna (a gigantic serpent that devours people, especially fishermen) and even save his small riverside town, Vila Sapucaia, from the magic of the Boto. Both characters, the boiuna and the boto, are legends that inhabit the Amazon River. The legend of the pink river dolphin says that it transforms into a man and impregnates the women of the villages located on the banks of the river.

Marina (Adriana Esteves) is the spoiled daughter of a wealthy landowner (Oswaldo Loureiro) from the Northeast. Tired of the Homeric fights and arguments she has with her husband Cássio (Marcelo Novaes), a typical city boy, she decides to ask her father to hire a gunman to eliminate her husband.
