Suffering from a serious case of depression brought on by the stress surrounding Claire's death, Gladys is admitted to a convalescent home. Rose is pregnant and the baby's father is Thomas, Robert's son. N'Guyen is placed in custody for not having respected the rules of his judicial supervision.

Serge attends court for his trial, with Robert defending him. A member of the Russian Mafia demands that Gladys represent his brother. Laurent manages to persuade her to return to work. A man whose wife died in a plane crash asks Emmanuelle to act for him.

Robert defends a chiropractor accused of malpractice by incorrectly manipulating a patient and thus preventing him from obtaining a job. Gladys takes on a divorce case that nearly ends in a catastrophe. She is also still living at Laurent's but the arrangement is proving increasingly complicated.

N'Guyen defends a man accused by his partner of acting as her pimp. Emmanuelle takes on the case of a young woman whose four year-old son, left alone one Sunday, died when he threw himself out of the window. At the same time, Emmanuelle's parents die in a helicopter accident.

Laurent and Jean-Bern are finding sharing their home with Gladys increasingly unbearable. Elisabeth is handling the case of a woman in her forties accused of killing a homeless man who was squatting in the entrance hall to her block of flats.See l

Gladys defends Inspector Hérard, accused by his partner of misconduct in public office. Rose finds herself homeless and Robert discovers that the letting agent she was in contact operates a racist policy. Serge invites Gladys to dinner and proposes.

Serge and Gladys are preparing for their wedding. The bride-to-be chooses Jean-Bern as her witness. Elisabeth defends the 19 year-old daughter of a diplomat accused of killing her newborn baby. Robert assists a young woman taking her employer to court for unfair dismissal.

Gladys defends a young man accused of drug-dealing. The fraud squad is investigating Belda and it's Elisabeth who comes up with the solution to get him out of this tight corner. Robert is taken hostage by Kevin, a psychopath who's just been released from prison.

Laurent defends François Pelletier, accused of having sabotaged a tank in a chemical factory. Gladys learns that Serge has used their wedding to launder Belda's fees. Emmanuelle defends a mother who considered her reputation tarnished by a reality TV show.

Serge defends a doctor accused of having made an unethical choice following his sons' motorbike accident. Gladys takes on the divorce of a wealthy businessman whilst Emmanuelle defends a patient accusing her cosmetic surgeon of not having respected her wishes.

Robert defends a young woman accused of driving her husband mad. Elisabeth represents Jean-Marc at the industrial tribunal, her client considers he has been victimised by his employer's policy of positive discrimination. Gladys wants a divorce but Laurent persuades her that it's not necessarily a good idea.

Gladys defends a young man accused of murder. Everything points to it being a case of anti-Semitism. Elisabeth defends a night watchman who'd abandoned his post because he'd seen a ghost. Serge discovers that his attempts at to corrupt a civil servant to "bury" his case have been in vain.
