Yakka Dee!

In this episode, Dee encourages a friend to say ‘cake’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. Today’s episode is full of cake – a small cake, a big cake, a banana cake and a carrot cake. There’s a unicorn cake, a birthday cake and a wedding cake. Dee enjoys a wonderful rainbow coloured surprise cake and is a little worried by an upside down cake!

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘fish’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We see lots of different types of fish - a small fish, a big fish, a scaly fish and a gold fish! We meet some stripy fish, a spiky fish, and even see some jumping fish!

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘top’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We see a red top, a blue top and a new top. There’s a soft top, a scratchy top and Dee and a friend discover they have matchy tops. We meet a cool top, see lots of kids in school tops and there’s even a tiger top

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘teddy’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We see lots of different teddies – a big teddy, some small teddies, a rainbow teddy and some cuddly teddies. There’s a fluffy teddy, a flower teddy and even a flying teddy. We also get to meet Dee’s special teddy.

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘rocket’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We explore all sorts of rockets – a big rocket, a tiny rocket and a shiny rocket. We see a blast off rocket, a flying rocket and a rocket zooming to the moon! There’s even a banana rocket!

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘coat’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We see various types of coat - from a rain coat to a snowy coat and even a glowy coat! We see a dinosaur coat and a dog in a coat. We do up a coat and hang up a coat and even meet a goat in a coat!

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘yo-yo’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We see all sorts of yo-yos – some spotty yo-yos, a stripy yo-yo, an up and down yo-yo, a rocking yoyo and even a peepo yo-yo!

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘mango’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. It’s all about mangoes today – there’s an orange mango, a red and green mango, a sweet mango, a mushy mango and a juicy mango! We meet a fast mango, share the last mango and even see a mango doing a tango!

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘donkey’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We meet all sorts of donkeys – a brown donkey, a grey donkey, an eating lots of hay donkey! There’s a nosy donkey and a long-eared donkey, a hee-hawing donkey and even a see-sawing donkey!

There is an animal train, a scrummy train made of food and everyone has a ride on a miniature train! There are summer socks, cosy socks and toes-y socks! We see some doggy socks, some soggy socks and even meet some super socks! The journey is repeated with some special surprises along the way and everyone has a boogie when Dee’s friend finally succeeds in saying today’s word!

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘cow’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We see lots of cows! There’s a big cow and a baby cow, a brown cow and a black and white cow. We meet a swishy-tailed cow, a furry cow, a muddy cow and even a fairy cow!

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘swing’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We see all sorts of swings – a red swing, a black swing, a forward and back swing. There’s a tyre swing, a basket swing, a flower swing and even a rainbow swing! Not to mention King Banana on his brilliant banana swing.

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘egg’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We see lots of different eggs – a brown egg, a white egg, we even see inside an egg. There’s a dippy egg, a fried egg, an egg being laid and what will come out of the hatching egg? There’s a gold egg, a cold egg and Dee and her friends even have an egg and spoon race!

Dee encourages a friend to say ‘shoes’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. This episode is all about shoes – brown shoes, blue shoes, shiny shoes and new shoes. We see flashy shoes and dashy shoes, loud shoes and even flying shoes!

We meet a swimming tiger, a climbing tiger, a cheeky tiger and even a tiger at a tea party! Dee encourages a friend to say ‘drum’ and we go on a whirlwind word adventure. We see and hear lots of different drums – a loud drum, a marching drum, a tap it drum and a whack it drum! We all have a dance to a steel drum, see a tiny mouse playing a rum pum drum and enjoy Dee playing a set of drums at a big concert.
