The Dreamhouse

Three young adults with intellectual disabilities fly the nest and move into a new home for 10 weeks. If it works out, they can stay on and call The Dreamhouse home.

The three housemates are beginning to settle into their new environment, and things are going well. But as well as enjoying their new-found independence they also have to learn about boundaries.

The housemates have a housewarming party, but not everyone is excited at the prospect. Sarah is unsure of the boys' choices of friends and after three weeks some cracks are beginning to appear.

Justin invites his family for a BBQ. He wants it to go well but the housemates don't seem to understand how important the occasion is to him. Then Justin's behaviour deteriorates; can the housemates work through their issues?

Sarah goes clothes shopping with fashionista friend Sophie; Justin plucks up the courage to ask Linda out, but then loses his nerve. Can Kirk calm him down and get the date back on?

With The Dreamhouse experience almost over, decisions need to be made about the future. After a positive start, a trip to the bush turns sour as Sarah and Justin start squabbling. Will they all choose to stay?
