Hill shepherds Amanda and Clive Owen live on one of the most remote farms in Britain with their nine children. Cameras follow them as they cope with one of the worst winters in 50 years, and fight to protect their 1,000-strong flock of sheep.

As spring comes to the Yorkshire Dales, so do some welcome arrivals. Shepherds Amanda and Clive Owen keep a close eye on their flock as lambing begins on the wild moors of their exposed hill farm. Reuben, 14, also leads his siblings on a rescue mission to find a missing lamb.

Cameras follow hill shepherds Amanda and Clive Owen and their nine children as they endure a heatwave on their remote hill farm in the Yorkshire Dales. For Clive and Amanda, the race is on to make the farm's hay crop in the searing heat, while also entertaining their giant brood during the summer holidays.

All hands are on deck to prepare sheep for the auction ring, while Amanda and Clive Owen's children are busy baking entries for the village farm show. Meanwhile, Clive waits to see if his best sheep will be crowned champion, and sell for thousands of pounds.
