Winter hits hard in cold Norway. Thord risks his life to keep the roads open while a winter storm strikes. Up in the north, Jo Roger and his son Ole Henrik are dealing with enormous amounts of snow.

Thord has expanded his territory, and with new ground to cover comes new obstacles to cross. Up in the north, Jo Roger has handed over the responsibility for the company to his son, Ole Henrik. And when an egg truck is stuck in snow, Ole Henrik has a bad day at work, struggling with rescuing the 22 ton's truck.

Ole and Roger mount a major rescue when a mail delivery truck plunges into a ditch. Meanwhile, recent changes mean big challenges for Thord.

Daylight hours are short on Norway's most treacherous roads, where the darkness makes the tow truck rescuers' jobs all the more dangerous.

A truck loaded with fresh fish blocks a main traffic artery in northern Norway, so Jo Roger and his employee have no time to lose to get the truck free. Not only is there a risk of huge traffic jams forming, but 300,000 euros are at stake should the cargo not reach its recipient.
